“ Do what you love, and you will love what you do”, an advice I’ve always believed in and has led me to further develop my passion which is fashion. Fashion is really a broad topic to start, but in my language, fashion is always about attitude, explorative and being independent. In these three words, it has kept me going to explore further about fashion. What makes fashion “fashion” is the unique attitude came in different aspect. A good example would be Leandra Medine, from The Man Repeller, an all time favorite style inspiration of mine, as she constantly speaks about the clothes rather than letting the clothes speaks about her. Margaret Zhang, from ShinebyThree, often wear what's best for herself and never try too hard on fashion. That's what fashion attitude means to me.
Speaking of explorative, the versatility in fashion, which constantly collaborating with different fields of industries, but still stay an unique language of its own. Taking fashion a step further like Rick Owen Spring Summer 16, gaining another applauded performance in fashion. When fashion has become a business and commercialise , someone has to come out give it a shot and prove that fashion is still explorative, creative and fresh.
Lastly, being independent in fashion means always believe in yourself, let your personal instinct and aesthetic leads to whatever you do. Being fashion doesn't mean you have to throw yourself abundant of brands, what matter most is to be able to stay healthy, exercise for your health and not for your look. Confidence in yourself means everything.
